Sometimes people say that Xbox does not have enough big exclusives. So, what are the best exclusive games on Xbox? What are the successful hits? And what are the highly acclaimed titles? I suppose time-exclusive games can count too such as Halo, Splinter Cell, Chronicles of Riddick, KOTOR, etc.

2001
Halo
Project Gotham Racing
Dead or Alive 3
Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee
Fuzion Frenzy
Amped

2002
MechAssault
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell
RalliSport Challenge
Deathrow
Unreal Championship
Wreckless: Yakuza Mission
JSRF: Jet Set Radio Future
WWE Raw
Blinx: The Time Sweeper
Steel Battalion
Gunvalkyrie

2003
Project Gotham Racing 2
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Brute Force
Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3
Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball
Top Spin
Panzer Dragoon Orta
Midtown Madness 3
Otogi: Myth of Demons

2004
Halo 2
Fable
Ninja Gaiden
The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II
Dead or Alive Ultimate
MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2
RalliSport Challenge 2
Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders
Otogi 2: Immortal Warriors
OutRun 2

2005
Forza Motorsport
Jade Empire
Conker: Live and Reloaded
Unreal Championship 2
Oddworld Stranger's Wrath
Phantom Dust
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike
Far Cry Instincts
Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes

Are some of those games not big enough? Did I miss any big games?

2004 looks like the most significant year for Xbox.

You forgot Gungriffin Allied assault and Sudeki. 2004 was the best year, but 2001 was good too.

GunGriffon: Allied Strike? It's so far received very low scores in reviews, and I don't think its sales will be noteworthy either. Do you vouch for its quality?

Sudeki? It did better in the reviews but not anything special. On sales, Sudeki did 42K in its opening month (July 2004) in the US. I don't have a more recent figure for its total, so I'm not yet sure if it's successful enough to make the ranks without having high reviews.

No. I don't vouch for it. What about Pariah? I know it's also for PC, but it's not on GC or PS2.

The PC version of Pariah is scheduled for release at the same time (March 2005) as the Xbox version. I'm only considering those that are entirely exclusive or at least time-exclusive to Xbox.

If you want, you can make your own separate list with console-exclusive Xbox games. To save space, only include those that are PC/Xbox.

Did I miss any big games?
Yes. How could you forget Doom3?! I'd also say HL2 is a possibility and maybe even Quake 4 but I'd say those two probably have a better chance becoming Xbox2 launch titles. If MS manage to snatch Half Life 2 to launch Xbox2, Halo will become a distant memory me thinks.

None of those are exclusive, since they're already on PC. Only games that are XBOX only, excluding PC should be included in this list. The best exclusive IMO go like this:

Ninja Gaiden
RalliSport Challenge 2
Project Gotham Racing 2
Panzer Dragoon Orta
Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate and 3
Crimson Skies
Halo 2
Fable
Forza Motorsport
Jade Empire
Otogi
Deathrow

Who was impressed by Blinx: Embarassingly Generic Ratchet Knock-Off? I also thought that the PS2 and Xbox versions of Splinter Cell and R63 were released very close to each other, but I'm on a modem while on break and too lazy to check bandwidth-hog IGN. I didn't think Otogi made all that big a splash, either, but now I'm just babbling. Crimson Skies was also an update to a PC title.

The PC version of Crimson Skies is more like a 2000 game. I've beat it and it's not the same game. The Crimson Skies for XBOX is more like a Crimson Skies 2. I have both games. They're not the same, and the one for XBOX is much better, since it is from 2003, whereas the one for PC is more like 2000.

Blinx was successful enough to receive a sequel.

Rainbow Six 3 XBOX - October 2003
Rainbow Six 3 PS2 - March 2004
Rainbow Six 3 GC - June 2004

Splinter Cell XBOX - November 2002
Splinter Cell PS2 - April 2003
Splinter Cell GC - April 2003

Otogi was an excellent title that was a sleeper hit. It was also successful enough to get a sequel.
