Xbox 360 can scratch a disk when switching between horizontal and vertical position.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Thats if you move the console while its actually on and a game is inside it. Thats the same withe the PS2 too. Its the equivalent of shaking your PC while its running a DVD. No idiots would do such a thing. Well maybe some, and those are the ones with scratched disks

It depends on how much of an idiot the user is. If you don't shake it about while moving it, it should be fine. If the console is vertical and you move it and turn it horizontally, sure it may bleem up.

Oh man havent you learned never move an active disc-rom media player (computer or console not portables) with a disc inside.

Yeah. Maybe that's why MS decided to put a warning in the manual saying not to swap 360's position from vertical to horizontal or viceversa with a spinning disc inside.

Evil people.

M$ really should try and fix it, what if someone's console accidently gets bumped over.

They should also make it waterproof just in case someone spills some Dr. Pepper over it.

J/K, but if MS had decided to focus efforts on preventing all kinds of consumer bleem-ups the R&D budget would've skyrocketed from the get-go.

Aren't the Gamecube disks a lot smaller? That would explain why they have a little more stability.

With the 360 using a DVD ROM that spins pretty good, only an idiot would consider moving his system from one position to another. I don't even move mine when there's a disk inside; I have no need to.

What the hell? Are you smoking crack? Try doing that to your PC when its on, your CD-rom or dvd-rom will be scratched to shit.

Everyone who moans here obviously is an idiot. If you move any high spinning optical drive whilst it is in motion you WILL scratch the disk. This is fact get over it you retarded idiots.
