| I have itunes 8.1.1.10 and I have a microsoft wireless explorer mouse(desktop version), both are fully updated, but the scroll wheel is not working properly. It works when i scroll the wheel for a bit, but it seems like the sensitivity in itunes is too high.
I have tried putting the sensitivity on my mouse all the way up, but it did nothing,
Here are my specs in case it is a technical problem:
HD4870 intel quad core processor at 2.4Ghz (not overclocked) 4 gigs of ram Vista Home Premium 64 bit with SP1
I have no clue whats wrong.
Thanks in advance, guys! |

| | | Quad core is too powerful for iTunes. And your mouse has too many buttons. |
|
| | Well, at least you're not alone:

There's some links in that thread with some suggestions that might be worth trying. I've had no problem with my iTunes and a wireless mouse (I've got Vista 64-bit but with a Logitech mouse). |

| | I had issue with scrolling in iTunes as well.
I was able to resolve the issue by downloading Intellipoint, then going into Microsoft Mouse adjusting the scroll speed from slow to fast and the problem went away.
