| Cliff Bleszinski is appearing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon tonight and he'll be showing off Gears of War 3 and his new multi-plat game, Bulletstream.
Should be interesting to see what they've added for the final installment. I'm hoping 4 Player Co-Op is finally in there... |

| | | I think they could at least include some 4-player co-op missions. I've found that was actually the most enjoyable part of Modern Warfare 2 when my internetz are working properly. Horde mode was pretty awesome, so I expect to see that expanded and improved further. Perhaps the biggest improvement would be if they made sure the online component worked properly before releasing it, as it was a mess with Gears 2 for awhile (it was later fixed and worked well). Gears 3 will be a showcase of any updates to the UE3 Engine, so I expect it to look terrific. They also will soon have some legit competition in the middleware race from Crytek, so it would be in their best interest to make sure it looks the best it possibly can. They have an opportunity to open up the story; I'm curious to see what they do there. I'd like to see more of that interesting bit at the end and less of the "giant worm" type of lines. |

| | We need team horde. By this I mean you could have two teams of 5 players trying to kill the horde and get more points than the other team, or a hardcore mode where players can kill horde AND players on the other team. That would be awesome. |

| Cliff Bleszinski has finally confirmed 4 Player Campaign Co-Op. As if this game wasn't already going to be an immediate purchase then that is going to be the icing on the cake.
And that trailer was very cool. Reminded me a lot of the Gears 2 trailer. It seems, judging by how rough Dom was looking, they're going to continue with the Dom story a bit in the final chapter. I'm also glad they've made a point of saying that this game is going to be the end of the story; as sorry as I am to see it go I kind of think that ending the saga will be the best way for Gears to inshrine itself in videogame lore. |

| | I thought the Dom story was finished, his wife dies end of. They should concentrate on Marcus, he is the main character after all. If there was ever a game I was garuanteed to buy straight away, it's this. Still can't wait. |

| hopefully it's better then gears 2, cuz that one was god awful. multiplayer wise atleast, hell even epic said sorry.

Straight out of the box, Gears of War 2's multiplayer in regards to matchmaking was very very clunky and very very seldom worked. That's something we take very very seriously and feel very very bad about. |

| I love both gears game. Although, I still don't understand why the last boss in gears 2 was so easy to defeat.
Anyway, can't wait for gears 3. |

| | There's a whole massive backstory to Gears. It's nearly got as big a following as Halo in terms of fans of the extended Universe stuff. They're actually sticking to it quite well. The books explain the origins of the guns, (why chainsaws), how Dom lost his family, where Marcus got the scar on his face, his relationship with that officer chick and why he got threw in Prison.
In the books, Dom and Marcus are practically brothers. Marcus's story is Dom's and vice versa. It'll play a big part for sure and I'm happy to see them actually put some thought into a story. |
